Sir,

With reference to your letter of the 18th

December, I am directed to inform you that in the opinion

of His Excellency the Governor you have not exculpated

yourself from the charges contained in my letter of the

15th December,

His Excellency has therefore appointed a

Committee of Executive Council, consisting of the Attorney

General (Chairman) the Treasurer, and the Honourable !!r.

H. E. Pollock, K,C,, to consider the question of your

suspension, and you are required to attend before the

Committee at the Council Chamber at 9.30 a.m. on Friday

the 29th December, and defend yourself orally. You should

bring with you any witnesses whom you may desire to call

on your behalf,
